Welcome to our relaxing atmosphere

Legacy House Imports has a Victorian tearoom which serves a traditional English afternoon tea tray. This consists of finger sandwiches, scones, breads and dainty desserts. We also serve other light lunch faire such as soup and quiche as well as tea and gourmet coffees. Come visit us for lunch, for wedding and baby showers, birthday parties, meetings and groups (up to 15) of all kinds.

The Legacy House Imports Story

Legacy House Imports, Inc. is located in a Cape Cod style home at 4221 Lien Road, Madison, Wisconsin, originally built by Olaf Lien in 1941. Olaf was one of three brothers (along with Ted and Reg) who served during World War II in the Navy, Marines and Army, respectively. Present day Lien Road was originally a driveway to the family farm. Until 1998, when Reg (the last of the surviving Lien brothers) retired, the Lien family farm was just up the road. The Lien family has been living in the East Madison area since 1884. Marsha and Patrick, the owners and operators of Legacy House Imports, first met in the 60's, went their separate way and were reunited in the 90's with a little help from Marsha's daughter.
